Its formation is a complex process involving vegetation, soil, the atmosphere, and even human activities. There are factors that limit precipitation:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1485\">\n<li data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1175\">\n<p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1175\"><strong data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1071\">Dry domes:\u00a0<\/strong>A hot, dry dome can act as a \u201clid\u201d on the atmosphere because the warm air at altitude expands and becomes lighter, preventing updrafts of moist air from developing into convective clouds, which then blocks the formation of rain.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1485\">\n<li data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1175\">\n<p data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1175\"><strong data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1071\">Moisture deficit<\/strong>: Without enough vapor available, the droplets within the cloud do not grow large enough to precipitate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1331\">\n<p data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1331\"><strong data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1212\">Weak updrafts<\/strong>: Without the energy of convection, droplets do not stay suspended long enough to grow large.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1485\">\n<p data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1485\"><strong data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1361\">Polluting aerosols<\/strong>: In excess, they can generate too many condensation nuclei, creating very small droplets that fail to join together and fall.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1572\">In these cases, clouds may cover the sky, but do not leave significant rain.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"315\" height=\"160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rainmaker.ooo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fenomenodelnino.webp\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rainmaker.ooo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fenomenodelnino.webp 315w, https:\/\/www.rainmaker.ooo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/fenomenodelnino-300x152.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>\ud83d\udd04 Human and natural cycles<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"566\">Existen variaciones <strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1645\">naturales<\/strong> del clima (como fen\u00f3menos ENSO: El Ni\u00f1o\/La Ni\u00f1a) que alteran los patrones de lluvia.<br data-start=\"1730\" data-end=\"1733\" \/>Sin embargo, la actividad humana \u2014deforestaci\u00f3n, sobre-explotaci\u00f3n de acu\u00edferos y urbanizaci\u00f3n\u2014 intensifica estos cambios, rompiendo el equilibrio del <strong data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1904\">ciclo hidrol\u00f3gico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>En resumen<\/h3>\n<p>Llueve menos cuando los bosques desaparecen, la humedad se reduce o las condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas no favorecen el crecimiento de gotas.
